Did it go well? Hope it did!
Mixed roles do exist, but they are hard to find: only small companies tend to support them as larger ones want more specialised staff. And that makes them hard to find as the smaller companies don't like the charges recruitment companies charge (And I can't say I blame them)

Hmm, All the jobs I have had are with small companies...I do like being able to do both, though sometimes doing both I feel I am not in one camp or the other. On the plus side, the guy said in a comment to another person in the interview, "well we seem to have got a lot of high quality candidates..." (I hope I was one of the high quality ones!). It's just in the middle of nowhere...

I hope its not that type of high quality where the HR sends you a letter saying I am sorry, but you are just too qualified for this position.

Yes, but the UK is fully prepared for it - the Govmint says so: Ebola outbreak: Britain has expertise to cope, say ministers[^]
Mind you, the NHS can't cope properly with a Friday night in Luton, so I suspect he is telling porkie-pies myself...

Heres an idea, move Friday night in Luton to a roving party and send to Ebola hotspots...

You can't - most of them have electronic tags and reporting restrictions: they can't leave the country.
And no airline (other than EasyJet) will take 'em anyway...

Now there's an idea: maybe they can poison the Ebola virus with alcohol from Ibiza?

Germany already had the Marburg virus so Ebola should be easy for them to handle.

Do you mean figuratively, rather than literally?
As in ROFL figuratively.
